Who We Are
Zero Harm Risk Advisory is a construction risk and safety advisory firm built by people who have lived every level of the industry — from roughneck to executive, from apprentice carpenter to lead superintendent on some of the largest industrial projects in the country.
We are not a traditional safety consulting firm. We don’t show up with clipboards, check your binders, and hand you a compliance report. We show up as partners — people who understand your business, speak your language, and know exactly where the risk lives on your projects because we’ve been there ourselves.

The Story Behind Zero Harm Risk
Zero Harm Risk Advisory didn’t start in a boardroom. It started with decades of real work — offshore drilling platforms, major incident investigations, billion-dollar construction programs, and years spent watching smart, well-intentioned construction teams get blindsided by risks that could have been caught early.
Tyler Pitzer spent 25 years building his expertise from the ground up — literally. He started as a roughneck on offshore drilling rigs, worked his way through field operations, and eventually rose to Executive Director of HSE for global drilling companies operating across multiple continents. Along the way, he led some of the most complex safety and risk programs in the energy industry, including contractor safety oversight for the $22.5 billion Sadara Chemical Company in Saudi Arabia, where he managed a $356 million annual budget and coordinated safety across more than 4,000 contractors per day.
Chris Nunnelly saw the same gap from a different angle. With over 20 years of commercial construction experience and a track record as lead superintendent on major tilt-wall industrial projects — including a 900,000 square foot Home Depot distribution center that won Project of the Year, and the Amazon SAT 9 warehouse in San Antonio — Chris had spent his career watching safety programs that didn’t understand construction try to tell experienced field teams how to work.

Background
Tyler’s career is defined by one consistent thread: taking complex, high‑consequence risk environments and building systems that protect people and operations at scale. From working as a paramedic and law enforcement officer early in his career, to spending 25 years rising through offshore drilling operations and global HSE executive leadership, Tyler has operated at every level of high‑stakes, high‑hazard industry.
He has led HSE programs for Fortune 100 energy clients, developed integrated ISO‑certified management systems, directed major incident investigations, and served as a trusted advisor during some of the industry’s most complex operational crises. He holds four professional certifications — Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), and Project Management Professional (PMP) — a combination held by very few practitioners in the construction risk space.
